It seems like a really nice car. I hope I can maintain it so it lasts a long time, too.
I think the locks should be on top of the doors, beside the windows, this creating easier access to unlock and lock in the basic model. Also. There should be keyed entry on all five doors in the basic model.
So far so good. I love how easy it is to drive and parking is a breeze. It's a cozy interior that is a mix of stylish and comfy. I really like my Micra!
The gas mileage that I have been figuring out is between 6.2 and 6.5 each time I fill up. I do a blend of city & hiway driving. I have had no issues with it in this 1st month of owning it. It is easy to park in tight spots, especially with the rear back up camera. The steering is effortless. It is a close fit in the back seat when we have 3 kids back there, our kids being older children as well. But the head room back there is great. Enough leg room if the front seats are moved up abit. Trunk space is sufficient for day to day items back there. The back seats fold down giving plenty of room - will suprise you how much can fit back there. Also the trunk height is comfortable for reaching into without a lot of bending. I enjoy driving my Micra! It's perfect for me.
I've only had the vehicle for a few weeks now, but I love it. Everything about it is great!
No issues so far, had the Micra for one month now & 800km. Great on gas, very maneuverable in traffic, and comfortable interior with surprising amount of storage space if you know how to pack. Engine power & responsiveness is good for this class (I used to own a 1995 Suzuki Swift with only 70 hp). Haven't had the opportunity to test the Micra in the Rockies or extended highway driving yet, but we are looking forward to how it will perform. Nissan's reliability speaks for itself.
Excellent for more mature single ladies with fixed incomes. Nice pick up and go for merging, etc. nice and easy to drive anywhere. Could be a little heavier by weight as when turning long curves (example, going north between Lessard Road land befor entering the turnoff at Callingwood Rd) Driving north around that wide curve, the wind tries to push the car to the right (east). Also all 2015 vehicles I feel! Should be equipped with power windows and locks. As the Micra that I have has to be manually operated in these 2 areas, find it a nuisance and too old fashioned. Everything else with this car is perfect.
I've only had the Micra SV with convenience package for little over a month so far. Generally pleased with the vehicle but the true test will come in the winter. Ive tried the heating one cold morning and it was impressive how much heat it kicked out but I wont be entirely confident about it until its -20c. The performance is loads better than the Mitsubishi mirage (the only car that comes close to the micra in price). Although the Ford Fiesta and Mazda 2 also have impressive performance, they cannot match the Micra in price or comfort. The micra is spacious enough for me (6 ft 2.5 in) to fit comfortably. I think the monitor that comes with the convenience package makes the interior look loads better although I still dont use the rear view camera. It costs me about $30 to get 600km. First gear is a little shakey but the rest of the ride is exactly what you would expect from a little car. You cant feel the road but I wouldnt want to feel it anyway in Edmonton. The blind spots are not as bad as other cars in its class. The rear window falls quite low which is nice. I like that they placed the spare under the car to give the rear more space. I have no buyers remorse with this car. Overall it had great value and all the features that I want (not including a good sound system).
it's good so far
Love this vehicle! It's efficient to drive as well as comfortable! So far very reliable; I've put 4,000 km on it in 6 weeks through a couple of road trips. The back seat is surprisingly roomy, and the hatch back gives enough room for a couple of suitcases or a load of groceries.
It's a very nice car for the price it'll get the job done for sure. It's very nimble as in I've heard the axel ratios are easier on the engine than say a Nissan Sentra. That means it uses more gas even though it's engine is a 1.5L. I don't believe it has a CVT as it performs like a 4speed automatic. I would definitely prefer a full on CVT with no fake gear shifts etc. A full tank of gas is about $35-$40. But the Micra fits my budget and knowing it's brand new I know the full history of it. For the future I would prefer leasing a car, for countless better reasons than buying, renting, or getting used cars.
So far so good great little car very cheap to run, and fun to drive. Only problem is when I bought the car the salesman promised me a free tank of gas for all the problems I had on delivery day I called last week to collect and was told he no longer works there.
I am very pleased with everything this car has provided me. It's an awesome car and a tremendous vehicle for the price. I highly recommend to anyone that is looking to purchase a new vehicle to seriously consider the Nissan Micra S. I decided to test the car on a road trip to the mountains. I went to Jasper, the ice fields, Rocky Mountain house, and then back to Edmonton, It performed excellently with great gas mileage for a new vehicle.
My MICRA is awesome!!!! I love it.. I feel like I am driving a go cart!!! It is so very much the car I have dreamed about... Small and compact.. Good mileage... And big enough for at least 5 if need be!! Thank you Nissan!! This is the car I probably will drive till I'm at least 90 years old!!!!!
Love it
There is three things that Nissan needs to adress with this car. That is the glove box was very poorly designed , not enough storage compartments and no armrest. Other than that the car in this price range is good .....the styling is good the mechanicals seem good. Overall I'm glad I made the switch to a Nissan product. Love the car.
